LOCATION UPDATE: Holiday celebration on Dec. 4

Join us on Thursday, Dec. 4, for "An ÖйúÌå²ÊÍø Christmas Tree Lighting & Holidays Around the World," a joyful afternoon that brings together students, faculty, staff, alumni, families, neighbors and community leaders, as our campus community celebrates the traditions of the season through culture and connection.

This event brings together our signature Christmas tree lighting program with a new Holidays Around the World expo and a holiday treats reception.

"An ÖйúÌå²ÊÍø Christmas Tree Lighting & Holidays Around the World - Tis the Season of Light and Community" includes several events and activities throughout campus. All events are free and open to the public.

Explore interactive, student- and campus-led exhibits showcasing the world¡¯s many joyful traditions of the season. Each station will feature a hands-on activity ¡ª crafts, treats or cultural demonstrations. Gather at 4 p.m. for a festive storytime, and then head to the Wilson Center.

Celebrate the lighting of our campus Christmas tree with an indoor program featuring remarks from Pastor Melinda Pupillo and caroling led by choir alumni.

Experience many traditions of the season with treats and warm drinks. 

This afternoon is a joyful expression of the many ways we celebrate during this season ¡ª some old, some new, all shared. It serves as an anchor to a week of Traditions of the Season at ÖйúÌå²ÊÍø, much-loved celebrations including Sankta Lucia, the Julbord Dinner and our Christmas at ÖйúÌå²ÊÍø performance.
